What does family mean to you?

Family is the first line of defence anyone relies on in times of hardships. It buttresses us against the unending challenges that come our way.When the family is behind you,you will move mountains.

It is also the single most fulfilling entity that gives the greatest sense of belonging to those living in harmony. Nothing beats the feeling of total peace that one enjoys in the company of family members.

WE ARE WHO WE ARE BECAUSE OF OUR FAMILIES.

For the past week,I have enjoyed the company of family members I had taken long without physically interacting with.Surprisingly it feels like we have never left each others' side and have been together all this while. That connection is so effortless that thinking of a world without them is so scary.

*No family is complete without scandals and the "black sheep" who are naturally deviant.Their behaviour leads you into wondering whether they actually share the same ancestral blood with you.*Their mere presence anywhere triggers "boiling of blood" of several people because of what mess they are capable of doing in just a short time.

Although all families have such deviant characters, what binds members together far outweighs what ought to separate them. We ought to always focus more on what binds us because that is what propels families into prosperity.

Caring about our nuclear families is alright and everyone's primary task. It is however very vital that we take an extra step towards helping some people in our extended families. The more people you help the easier it becomes to handle challenges within the larger family. An enlightened and financially stable family makes sharing of responsibilities very simple.

DON'T FIGHT TO BE THE ONLY BULL IN THE KRAAL. IT IS AN ETERNAL STRAIN ON YOU.

*Some people are satisfied when everyone has to wait for them before anything can go ahead.*They receive so many calls regarding anything and everything and truth be told it must be quite stressing. Travelling to and from their place in search of help seem never ending for such people.

Apart from your immediate family, are there people you consider family ? These are people who are with us through thick and thin.

DEVELOP AND/OR BELONG TO MORE FAMILIES THAN ONE.

FAMILIES THAT WORK TOGETHER PROSPER TOGETHER.
